___________

Winner of the 2017 Ewart-Daveluy Award for Excellence in Indexing

This award honours my index for One Child Reading: My Auto-Bibliography by Margaret Mackey, published in 2017 by the University of Alberta Press. Mackey examines her personal history of reading and literacy development by revisiting texts she read, viewed, listened to, and wrote as she grew up in the 1950s and 1960s in Newfoundland. She told the editor she was ‘awestruck by the sensitivity' of my reading. The index is available here, courtesy of the University of Alberta Press.
